YVCC Create Music Project

Welcome to the first two volumes of the YVCC Create Music Project.  We are excited to share projects from our students at Yakima Valley Community College in Washington State.

It is our goal to add our own additions to the ever evolving language of music with the help of our highly creative student body.  The YVCC Create Music Project started from music composed and created by students from different courses from the Music Department.  These courses include Computer Music, Jazz Combo, Choir, Music Theory and Salsa Band.  The student artists range from a background of self taught musicians to formally trained students pursuing a major in music.  These projects have been made possible by Apple computers, GarageBand, Logic Pro and Sibelius.
